I don't think  it helps to generate traffic ,but i suggest label it to according to category or at least write two or three that best describe your post. Click "Add a Gadget".

Some blogs says that  helps improve SEO of your blogs but for me it doesn't really help driving traffic.Its the quality of your post and useful things that can be found on your blog that drive readers to your post.
